Kuwait’s National Report on Progress in Implementing the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action 30 Years Later:
“Women enjoy utmost care and attention from the State of Kuwait at the legislative and institutional levels, in terms of equal rights and public duties with men, based on the principles of justice, equal opportunity, and full respect for human rights. This is evident, starting with the 1962 Constitution of the State of Kuwait, which addresses those charged with its provisions in a general manner, without regard to any discriminatory basis. This is in addition to the explicit provisions of Article (29) of the Constitution, which addresses the general principle of combating racism based on gender, origin, language, or religion. Article (29) establishes and establishes the rules and frameworks for equality, combating discrimination, and upholding human dignity. Article (7) of the Constitution states that “All people are equal in human dignity and are equal before the law in public rights and duties. There shall be no discrimination between them on the basis of gender, origin, language, or religion.” Trusted by citizens
