Oman National Report on Progress in Implementing the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action 30 Years Later:
“The Oman 2040 Vision for Family Well-being and Women’s Empowerment is one of its most important goals. It includes plans and programs that contribute to the promotion and protection of human rights, including women’s rights. In this context, Omani women played a vital role in preparing and implementing the vision, with their participation ranging between 30-35% among more than 41,000 participants in its various stages. This reflects their strong commitment to achieving progress and development in the country. These stages included the preparation and diagnosis stage, the foresight and scenarios stage, the orientations and targets stage, the communication initiatives stage, which toured all governorates of the Sultanate of Oman, and finally the national conference stage.
