This final parallel national report for Jordan, reviewing progress made in implementing the Beijing +30 Declaration and Platform for Action, includes a summary of the parallel national consultations, which were conducted in a consultative manner with a number of civil society organizations, particularly relevant women’s and human rights organizations, including members of the Arab Women’s Civil Society Network, which supports this report. The consultations also included the participation of a number of activists, academics, and members of various local community committees. This is in the context of the report submitted by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, “Comprehensive National Review: Progress towards Implementing the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action after 30 Years,” in June 2024, and the national achievements it contains, including legislative amendments, measures, and local policies that have been adopted and implemented.
